They Say...

For me Eleen is a coach's coach, she's sharp! She can assess a program or idea and immediately catch what doesn't fit. She is a true giver, as when I posted a question about designing my international coaching program, she was the first person to say I want to help you and she even sent me a reminder for our meeting. We connected on our love for worldwide travel and with her multicultural experiences and passion for travel combined with her higher education she's not only got the whole package, but she’s also got a great heart! I know she'll be able to help anyone who needs a logical and strategic approach to moving abroad to tie up any loose ends. I'd highly recommend her because she is thorough, detail oriented and so much fun to talk with.

I am so impressed with Eleen’s knowledge of what it takes to make a move to another country. She demonstrates how to use creativity and street smarts under pressure, to not let the unanticipated get her down, but to rise to the occasion and make it work. Her presentations are lively, engaging and thought provoking, suggesting topics that need to be considered in a move to another country. I highly recommend Eleen as your guide and mentor as you prepare to move to a new country!

Throughout my university studies I always knew that I wanted to go abroad eventually. However, I was never certain where exactly I'd like to go. When Eleen gave a talk about her stay abroad at Norway's northernmost university Tromsø, I was instantly hooked. Her presentation style as well as the pictures she showed let me fall in love with Northern Norway. She had established the ERASMUS cooperation with the University of Tromsø prior to her stay there, which I found both encouraging and outgoing. Without her talk at my university, in which she listed the stuff that you actually need to hear (like costs of living, practical tips, housing, and ways to finance yourself, as well as deadlines) I would have felt way less prepared and would have worried more - but this way, I knew what I had to do. After her presentation, I think we engaged in some small talk and soon after, I started reading her blog which she wrote while being abroad. I felt inspired to hear about her everyday adventures, struggles and overall student life. Pictures of snow, mountains, and northern lights of course made me want to go even more. At the same time, I felt more prepared, because sometimes it's the small bits and pieces of information that help the most. We continued to stay in contact, and I actually made it to Tromsø some time later, where she even got me set up with some basic things that I needed, once I arrived there, via a friend of her. All in all, I really am thankful because if it would not have been for her commitment and enthusiasm, I would have missed out on an awesome year that (I know it sounds cliche but bear with me) - changed me forever!

Dear Eleen, thank you for so much inspiration, fun facts and also really practical, tangible info the other day on the subject of emigrating or working/studying in Spain! If there’s anyone else out there dreaming about emigrating, or wo wants to spend a few years – for whatever reason – abroad, and is looking for active support and inspiration, then you are in the very best hands with Eleen!

Eleen is a real blessing for those who wish to move abroad. She is down to Earth, but in a very open-minded and optimistic way, so you will always feel, that everything can be solved, taken care, thought over. She helps you to organise your duties, thoughts, and inspires you to step forward. She has really nice methods to browse and can provide informations you didn't even expect. She is flexible in many ways, also correct with time and payment. She is extremely intelligent, helpful and follows your life with respect to help the best way she can. She has a really cheerful and witty attitude, and has deep insights to see through things what are difficult to express or understand. She always has the best efforts to understand what you think exactly, and also non-judgemental when it comes to things you might consider as your weakness. She is a real fighter and survivor herself as well, so I think you will find a great professional helper in her person. Besides all these - you can book the sessions when you really feel you need support - so there is no timeframe, it exactly follows your needs.
